Finance and Investment
A 1st or 2nd Class Honours degree in accounting, finance, investment or banking related subjects from a recognised university; or a recognised professional finance qualification with relevant work experience; applicants whose 1st language is not English require an IELTS of 6.5 (with 6.0 or above in each component).
Core modules include: accountability, responsibility and governance; advanced corporate finance; dissertation; empirical techniques in finance research; evolution of finance; international financial regulation, compliance and anti-money laundering legislation; investment strategy and portfolio management; quantitative and qualitative empirical methods; the financial system: individuals and institutional investors. optional modules include: money, banking and financial markets; financial risk management; behavioural finance.
Assessment methods include examination and production of a dissertation.
