History of Art (Renaissance to Modernism)
The seminar programme offers a broadly chronological survey of Western art from the late 15thcentury to the late 20th, enabling students to place their own individual research within the broader context of developments in art history since the Renaissance. The rest of the course is based on the student's own research under supervision.
1st or 2nd class Honours degree or relative experience; applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 (with 6.0 or above in each component).
Assessment methods include dissertation of not less than 20,000 words.
