Architecture

This research degree offers the opportunity for independent research under the supervision of a departmental member of staff. Unless the candidate is part of a research group, the research is undertaken entirely by the candidate on their own, with regular supervisions on progress with their supervisor. The course may be used as a stand-alone research degree, or as a preparatory year for the 3-year PhD degree.

Entry requirements

1st Class or 2.1 Honours degree in architecture or a related discipline. IELTS score of 7.0.

Course modules
