Architecture and Urban Studies

This is a full-time programme of advanced study on contemporary architecture and the continued development of cities around the world. The course has an emphasis on the socio-political aspects of architectural practice and cities in general, with architectural practice at its centre, the course relates closely to design work produced in the department.

Entry requirements

A 1st Class or high 2.1 Honours degree in architecture, engineering, physics, applied science or an appropriate cognate discipline. IELTS score of 7.0.

Course modules

Modules approach design, environmental (technical) and urban issues from a theoretical platform that allows critical enquiry.

Assessment methods

Dissertation.
