This course is designed for students who have not previously studied business or management who wish to pursue a professional career in business. Students on the programme are outstanding individuals who are likely to become leaders in their chosen fields.
A first Class Honours degree (GPA 3.7 or higher) in a subject other than business or management. Applicants should have no more than a year of work experience (excluding vacation employment and internships during the course of their undergraduate degree). Applicants whose 1st language is not English should have IELTS minimum overall score of 7.5, with not less than 7.0 in each element; or TOEFL 110, with not less than 25 in each element; or CAE minimum score of Grade A or B (with at least 293 in each individual element) plus a language centre assessment; or CPE score of Grade A, B or C (with at least 200 in each individual element).
Modules include: finance and accounting; business economics; strategy; marketing; operations management; information systems; and organisational analysis. This is complemented by a range of electives aligned to potential careers in management.
Assessment on the course consists of a combination of university examinations, case and project presentations and coursework.
