Innovation, Strategy and Organisation

This course explores innovation and change through 3 interconnecting themes: innovation and work practices; innovation and strategic change; and organisational theory.

Entry requirements

1st Class Honours or equivalent (a degree in a social science or humanities discipline is normally expected). Prior work experience is not required. Applicants whose 1st language is not English should have IELTS minimum overall score of 7.5, with not less than 7.0 in each element; or TOEFL minimum score of 110 (iBT), with not less than 25 in each element; or CAE minimum score of grade A or B (with at least 193 in each individual element) plus a language centre assessment; or CPE score of grade A, B or C (with at least 200 in each individual element).

Assessment methods

Assessment will be by written examination, project, or coursework, depending upon the nature of the particular course. If dissertation option is chosen, a 12,000 word thesis is required, with no oral exam. Should the individual research project option be chosen, a 4,000 word assessment is required, with no oral exam.
