This course aims to enable entrepreneurs to nurture new ventures through an academically rigorous and directly relevant learning experience.

Entry requirements

Degree at a minimum of 2.1 or above. Students whose 1st language is not English should have IELTS 7.5, with no band below 7.0; or TOEFL Internet 110, with no element below 25. Applicants should also be able to demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking and ambition through the submission of a framework for an entrepreneurial project which will be considered as part of the application process.

Course modules

Course 1: entrepreneurial awareness and skills; course 2: opportunity recognition and idea evaluation; course 3: preparing and implementing the business case; course 4: managing the early stage venture.

Assessment methods

Enterprise project (14,000 words); reflective essay (2,500 words); class tests; oral presentation; active participation in online learning activities and discussions.
