The main research interests are focused in 5 research clusters: regional economy and society; environmental processes; historical and cultural geography; society, environment and development; glaciology and quaternary change.

Entry requirements

Good Honours and Master's degree in geography or allied subject; those whose 1st language is not English require an IELTS score of 7.0.

Assessment methods

A dissertation of up to 80,000 words.

NERC and ESRC studentships.
