Industrial Systems, Manufacture and Management
The course covers: introduction to principal aspects of manufacturing management through lectures, teaching workshops and industrial visits: exposure to a number of manufacturing operations and environments; experience of solving industrial problems through series of in-company projects designed to reinforce material covered in teaching programme; the course includes technical and managerial projects and visits in a number of manufacturing industries throughout UK, plus a 3-week tour of industries overseas; a design option is also available.
Honours degree or its overseas equivalent in numerate discipline; previous industrial experience desirable but not mandatory. IELTS score of 7.5.
A dissertation of no greater than 15,000 words.
