Micro and Nanotechnology Enterprise
This programme combines an in-depth multidisciplinary scientific programme with a global perspective on the commercial opportunities and business practice necessary for successful exploitation of the rapidly-developing fields of nanotechnology and microelectromechanical systems (MEMS); the programme is intended for those who wish to develop focus skills and a commercial awareness of the cutting-edge disciplines of micro- and nanotechnology, and provides an education experience for entrepreneurs; in addition to the course fee (university composition fee) students may have to pay a college fee.
UK Bachelor's degree (minimum 2:1) in a physical sciences or relevant biological sciences subject; overseas students might need a Master's level degree before admission.
Funding is available to selected students, from the EPSRC and Cambridge Trusts; there are deadlines by which overseas applications must be made.
