Real Estate Finance
This course provides training in the key areas of finance, economics and law as they relate to real estate markets; in addition to the course fee students may have to pay a college fee.
1st or upper 2nd class Honours degree, or equivalent; applicants whose 1st language is not English must demonstrate their proficiency via a formal test and reach the required standard.
Compulsory modules in: real estate finance; real estate development; quantitative research methods; real estate investment and risk analysis; plus optional modules from a list including: real estate finance and securitisation; urban economics; legal issues in land use and finance.
Assessment is based on essays; written and oral examinations; dissertation; successful completion allows continuation to PhD study.
