Employment Law (e-learning)

The courses are appropriate for all those who need or wish to develop and/or extend their understanding of UK employment law.

Entry requirements

Honours degree to a good standard, or its equivalent; applications from all candidates are be considered on their merits and in the light of the nature and scope of the programme or work proposed; informal enquiries are welcomed and are normally be followed by an initial advisory interview.

Course modules

Modules include: Foundations of law (compulsory for non-law graduates); collective labour law; equality at work; advanced legal research methodology; plus 1 option from: security in employment; privacy and confidentiality of information; student initiated research module.

Assessment methods

Assessment is by coursework and a dissertation.

Sponsorship information

Graduates of the University of Central Lancashire have a 20 per cent discount on tuition fee if self-funded; graduates of the University of Central Lancashire with a 1st Class Honours degree can apply for the Gilbertson scholarship.
