International Business and Management

The course is specifically designed for those who plan a professional or managerial career in an international business environment; the programme addresses the main international business management disciplines and aims to provide a rigorous postgraduate business and management education; it offers access to one of the leading university research institutes; the institute of international business, based at Lancashire Business School and provides the opportunity to undertake an overseas study visit to examine international business in action.

Entry requirements

A recognised university 2.2 Honours degree; or a professional qualification deemed to be equivalent.

Course modules

Modules include: Strategy and international business management; international marketing management; international labour markets; personal and professional development; multinational finance; business environment; research methods. In addition you will be able to take one of the following options: Overseas visit; corporate social responsibility; managing projects across cultures.

Assessment methods

Within each module the assessment methods are designed to contribute to student's continuing development; giving feedback on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement, and providing periodic evaluations of progress.
