Health Research Methods

The MSc Health Informatics programme is designed to provide a specialist qualification in health informatics; the course addresses a wide range of operational care and management perspectives, illustrates principles applicable right across the health and social care sector and takes theory into practice; it is ideal for demonstrating competence in informatics to support the care domain and could contribute towards meeting continuing professional development goals; the course learning outcomes map to Health Informatics National Occupational Standards and the Key Skills Framework.

Entry requirements

The course team welcome applicants without formal qualifications, and each application will be assessed individually through interview and evidence provided by the candidate.

Course modules

3 core modules in health research methods, 1 with a quantitative slant and 1 with a qualitative flavour; supported by a module in postgraduate study skills.
