Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Management (HACCP, by e-learning)

This unique course provides relevant and up to date experience in food borne disease; HACCP development audit; and management and research methods for food safety; essential transferable skills are developed which can be utilised for career enhancement; the course is available online with no campus attendance required; it includes a double module on food borne disease, a single module on HACCP development, a double module on HACCP audit and management and a single module on research methods for food safety.

Entry requirements

A recognised British Honours degree to a good standard, or equivalent.

Course modules

Modules include: Foodborne disease (double module); HACCP development; HACCP audit and management (double module); research methods for food safety.

Assessment methods

Assessment is by coursework and uses a variety of methods including: Case reports; case studies; analysis of papers; and a portfolio.
