Conflict and Violence Minimisation

Minimising conflict, violence and aggression within educational, health and social care settings, particularly mental health and forensic settings, has become an integral part of the professionals role.

Entry requirements

The course is open to any professional in education, health or social care; the applicants have to demonstrate that they have recently studied at academic Level 6.

Course modules

Modules include: Promoting a safe organisation; student initiated practice development; minimising conflict: Enhancing alliances.

Assessment methods

The modules use a range of authentic assessment strategies including: essays, practice based projects, poster presentation.
