Building Services

The programme is characterised by parallel themes of design and management of project work, complemented throughout by the drive towards sustainability and energy efficiency of engineering solutions. This course is designed to encourage you to approach your academic and professional career as a creative, innovative manager and engineer. On graduation you will have the potential to contribute to significant advances in engineering and technological and social issues associated with the building engineering services industries. You'll have the opportunity to complete an MSc with a 38-40 weeks professional placement or an MSc with 10-15 weeks work placement in addition to the standard MSc programme. Placements are as much about gaining an insight and understanding of the culture and language in the engineering profession as gaining technical skill and experience.
