Clinical Pharmacy Practice
The course is designed to develop clinical and technical knowledge and the skills required to deliver core pharmaceutical services safely and effectively within primary, secondary and community care settings; the programme offers a wide range of options encompassing the clinical aspects of pharmacy practice; the overall aim of the course is to provide equitable training and assessment to equip students with the skills, knowledge and experience to provide the highest quality professional care as well as a method to progress their career; in addition, the programme has been designed to provide opportunities for students to develop a skill base that is not solely focussed on academic ability, by incorporating elements of assessed work which facilitate personal development in the following areas: Communication; information technology; numeracy; interpersonal/teamwork; self-management; professional development.
