Advancing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

This programme is a study of communities and the dynamics and tensions of human interaction within them, alongside the role of law as a vehicle of governance. It aims to focus on understanding disadvantages within communities and how inclusivity can be established. As well as, understand social inequalities and how to enhance the value of diversity and inclusion.

Entry requirements

A recognised 1st degree or its equivalent; or a professional qualification deemed to be a degree equivalent; or mangerial, professional or technical expertise deemed to be appropriate for this programme of study.

Course modules

Core modules: Understanding equality and community practice; leadership: theory, practice and reflection; community and practice based research; 3 optional modules: promoting equality and diversity; managing change; equality, human rights and the aw; professional writing and communication; dissertation.

Assessment methods

Assessment is based on written assignments, oral presentations and through practical tasks.
