International Heritage and Attraction Management

The course has been designed to provide a high quality vocational, personal and intellectually challenging education for those wishing to enhance their knowledge, skills and appeal to an the international market; emphasis is placed on developing a range of professional, managerial and transferable skills aligned with an extensive knowledge of management disciplines applicable to understanding both heritage and attraction management today.

Entry requirements

A recognised university undergraduate Honours degree, with at least a lower 2nd Class classification; or a professional qualification deemed to be equivalent.

Course modules

Modules include: Principles and practice of tourism, hospitality and events; management development; tourism management; research methodology: philosophy and practice; international heritage; attraction management; dissertation.

Assessment methods

Assessment methods include: Reports; essays; presentations; seminar papers; dissertation.
