Elite Coaching Practice

This successful partnership has seen this postgraduate diploma course recognised as the 1st endorsed level 4 UK Coaching Certificate; if students hold responsibility or interest in developing and improving your team's performance, as either a coach or manager, the elite coaching practice course is for them; progression route onto UCLan's new doctorate programme, Professional Doctorate in elite performance (D.Prof.EP), can be discussed upon successful completion of this course; alternatively students can top up onto the MA in sports coaching.

Entry requirements

Applicants require an undergraduate degree; working towards /completed a UKCC level 3 is advantageous; applicants where English is not the 1st language need to demonstrate their ability in the English language through obtaining an IELTS score of 6.0 or above or equivalent.

Core modules: Issues in performer development; coaching practice; planning for development; coaching analysis; work based learning.
