Management with International Business

The programme is designed to be attractive to those individuals who wish to augment a 1st degree in a different subject, with an understanding of management; students study 3 of the functional areas of management and combine these with study of people in organisations, information systems and research methods; this pathway explains the underlying imperatives and drivers of international business, and the frameworks and models which provide an examination of key decisions in developing and executing successful business strategies in an increasingly competitive global business environment.

Entry requirements

Minimum of lower 2nd Class Honours degree, or equivalent.

Course modules

Core modules: International business environment; international business strategy; strategic people management; strategic financial management; managing in organisations; management research methods; management research project.

Assessment methods

Assessment is through a combination of written assignments, projects, presentations or examination.
