Designed for those managers who want to develop and accredit their professional competence and knowledge base.
An Honours degree or equivalent, i.e. professional qualification, from a recognised British or overseas institution; you will be required to attend an interview to satisfy a requirement of a minimum of one year�s appropriate management or business experience with an ability to complete the programme satisfactorily and benefit from it. Individuals will also be selected on the basis of the contribution they may be expected to make as well as the benefit they receive. Credit exemptions can be given where applicants have achieved a postgraduate certificate in a business-related subject at another institution or have achieved accreditation at Level 7 from a professional body, e.g. CMI, CIM, CIPD, ACCA.
Modules include: Leading and managing people; strategic management; managing excellence in processes and projects.
Assessment for each taught module is normally by submission of 1 or 2 pieces of work, totalling 4,000 words or equivalent; the research methods module will involve the submission of a research proposal.
