Clinical Sciences

The purpose of the MRes applied science is to provide students with the skills and knowledge to undertake academic research in their chosen discipline. The disciplines currently offered under this scheme are: cardiovascular disease, cancer biology, diabetes, immunology, inflammation, mathematical modelling, sports physiology. Students will complete 2 appropriate taught modules providing formal research methods training and practical skills training. Students will then complete a substantial research project which will be assessed through the production of a review paper and research paper based on their research.
