The Social Work programmes draw upon the expertise and involvement of related academic disciplines within the Health and Wellbeing faculty. Collaboration with students from other disciplines will help you develop your knowledge, understanding and skills for inter-professional work, which is a cornerstone of good practice. We offer international placements as part of our courses. We currently offer placements in the USA, South Africa and Guatemala.
A 2.2 Bachelors degree or above in an associated field and relevant experience and understanding of the profession of Social Work (assessed through application and interview).GCSE minimum grade C in English Language and maths or equivalent. Associated experience and knowledge of current issues within and affecting social work is also required.Equivalent qualifications other than those listed above may be accepted.
