Specialist Community Public Health Nursing
There are different pathways: Health visiting; occupational health nursing; school nursing; sexual health advising.
Current 1st level registration as a nurse or midwife with at least 1 year�s experience post-registration; a 1st degree in a relevant subject; support from a primary care trust or employer, enabling students to secure a placement in a chosen area of practice, with access to a practice teacher; criminal records bureau check before entry.
Assessment methods include written assessments; reflections; portfolio of evidence; learning contracts and timed examination.
