Nursing Practice

The course is for qualified nurses who already hold a degree and wish to undertake further study in nursing. The programme provides the opportunity to study specialist modules across a wide range of subject areas. Entry requirements

1st or 2nd Class Honours degree; students with other qualifications may be admitted to the course via APL procedures. You must be a qualified nurse and hold active registration with the NMC Nursing Register, or equivalent. You will need access to an appropriate practice setting if a module with an attached QPU is studied or a work based learning module. Applications will be accompanied by one professional reference.

Assessment methods may include: Portfolio; case study; reflective account; academic essay; evidence based analysis; patchwork text; production and presentation of a teaching aid; presentation; OSCE; viva; patient management plan; clinical vignette; written report; online assessment; work based assessment; dissertation; written examination.
