International Business and Finance

This course integrates analysis from various disciplines including economics, international business and management and finance and behavioural finance. Students become strategically aware of the factors affecting agents operating in international business and will hear different theoretical perspectives for the critical appraisal of the role, operation, and impact, of financial markets internationally.

Entry requirements

An undergraduate degree (2.2 or above) in a business or finance related subject.

Course modules

Modules include: international economics for business and finance; international banking and finance law; options; international business theory and strategy; strategic finance and investment behaviour; independent study.

Assessment methods

A wide range of assessment methods are used on the course. Students may be creating strategy documents, international business analysis reports, creating presentations or videos, or analysing information from Bloomberg on international markets and organisations.
