Professional Practice

This course lets students study in their own way and develop in the specific professional field they choose. Putting the students professional role at the centre of study, the knowledge gained will allow students to have an influence on their own work, those they work with, and even the received wisdom of the industry they work in.

Entry requirements

A Master's degree in a relevant field although a good 1st degree instead of a Master's will be considered. Applicants should also have at least 3 years' professional experience. Applicants whose 1st language is not English may need to provide the minimum English qualification: IELTS level 6.5 (with no less than 6 in each component) by the time of entry.

Course modules

Modules include: professional and technical development; research design and execution; independent study.

Assessment methods

Module assessment will include literature and professional development reviews, research methodologies and proposals, and vice voce (oral) examination. All assessments on the programme are assessed on a pass/fail basis and are not graded.
