Hand Therapy

This course enables students to continue learning, evaluating, maintaining and developing services for hand therapy. Students learn to critically evaluate and reflect on their own practice in hand therapy.

Entry requirements

Honours degree (2.2 or above); or a diploma in occupational therapy or physiotherapy; or an equivalent qualification; English Language GCSE grade C or equivalent; applicants should currently be working in the clinical field of hand therapy.

Course modules

Modules include: introduction to Master's level study; assessment of the hand and upper limb; treatment modalities; research methods; hand injuries and conditions: mechanisms and interventions; hand therapy in practice; independent scholarship.
