University of Derby
Behaviour Change (Occupational Health and Safety)
This pathway was designed to support occupational health and safety practitioners and graduates interested in applied work settings. If you believe that health and safety cannot be seen simply in terms of primary prevention but in terms of individual and organisational behaviour, then this pathway is suitable for you. You learn about behavioural approaches to health and safety in the workplace and how to apply behaviour change models. You will be taught by a team of expert ergonomists and psychologists and benefit from exchanges with students across our Behaviour Change pathways, increasing your multidisciplinary outlook on behaviour change.
You will need a 2.2 undergraduate degree or substantial professional experience. If English is not your 1st language you will need to hold IELTS 6.5.
You will be assessed via coursework. There will be formative activities to help thoroughly prepare you for your coursework.
