Acoustics and Noise Control
Our course is delivered by an experienced academic team, with locally based consultants providing guest speakers to enhance your learning. During the course you will develop the practical and problem-solving skills to become a professional practitioner in the field of acoustics. The course is designed with a view to furthering your professional development and enhancing your employability. This diploma can also lead to Associate Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
You will need an undergraduate degree or diploma or HND. Non-standard entry is possible for experienced candidates.
Modules are assessed by a combination of coursework and examination. Coursework is comprised of laboratory reports and a small number of nationally-set assignments. The examinations normally take place in June, and there are 3 examinations in total.
