Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy
Study a course accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), so you can be sure it's relevant and recognised throughout the profession. Develop transferable research skills related to psychotherapy and provide an opportunity to develop confidence in a self-critical and reflective approach to study. Students on this course explore the theoretical, social, cultural and ideological contexts in which clients perceive, confront and manage problems.
Modules include: integrating psychotherapeutic theory and practice; professional practice 1; current developments in psychotherapeutic theory and practice; research methods, ethics and law in psychotherapeutic practice; professional integrative practice; professional practice 2.
There are some practical assessments, written assignments, and the final dissertation.
