Management of Long-Term Conditions
The core components of the course focus on long term condition management, advanced assessment and the pathophysiology of common conditions; students also have the chance to study more flexibly, for example by focusing on a disease specific condition, carrying out case study analysis or writing up a small project, audit or service evaluation. On successful completion, you should be capable of moving into a case management role.
Modules include: clinical decision making; principles of long term condition management; strategic and clinical management of long term conditions; negotiated module.
Assessment is via OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) and assignments.
