International Business and Human Resource Management
The course aims to prepare students for a rewarding career managing people in global organisations. It sharpens international focus to improve the business and human resources management (HRM) decisions students make on behalf of their organisations. It also provides students with a thorough grounding to gain further professional qualifications in any international organisation.
Modules include: international economics for business and finance; markets, customers and marketing; improving financial performance; HRM in an international context; leading, managing and developing people; international business theory and strategy; employment law; strategic talent development; independent studies.
Assessment is mainly through coursework which ranges across formats including computer-based tests, research reports, practical activities, presentations, essays and case study analysis. Some modules are also assessed with an examination.
