Environmental Health (online study)

This degree will equip students with the necessary skills, knowledge and competencies to enable them to understand and evaluate the risks posed by the full range of environmental health hazards, or stressors, which impact on human health and well being. Students will be able to critically evaluate a full range of sustainable interventions which are available to eliminate or mitigate the health hazards or stressors, thereby protecting human health and promoting well being.

Course modules

Core modules: determinants of public health and wellbeing; environmental policy and law; health impacts (workplace and food); natural and residential environments. Also 1 of the following optional modules: environmental health in practice; environmental noise assessment; environmental pollution and management strategies; global issues in environmental and public health; health leadership, assessment and inequalities.
