Integrative Health and Social Care
By incorporating current research and government initiatives we have produced a stimulating, relevant and practical programme that will enable you to deliver effective healthcare, inter-agency working, policy development, and strategic direction in a range of disciplines to patients, clients, families and the community, anywhere in the world.
Applicants should usually have 2 years' postgraduate experience in an appropriate subject and be currently employed in a relevant field. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 7.0 or equivalent.
Core modules: Advanced integrative practice; research methods in integrative health and social care; independent project. Optional modules: Assessment and resuscitation in emergency care; end of life care; ethical and legal issues in health care policy and practice; health promotion and behaviour change for health and social care professions; interprofessional education and learning; leadership in health and social care; management for an integrative health and social care workforce; mentoring and coaching in practice; palliative care in end of life; partnerships in dementia care; public health (UK and international perspectives); sexual health; social consequences of dementia care; therapeutic and diagnostic reasoning.
