Advanced Social Work Studies (MSc)
The course aims to help you develop advanced critical, analytical, interdisciplinary and research skills in social work. Comprising a flexible route through relevant and exciting modules as well as an opportunity to undertake a Master's level dissertation in a chosen topic, this programme will suit potential students with a passion for any aspect of social work.
MSc: You should have an Honours Degree of 2:2 or above. Please check our website for English language requirements.
Modules include: Decision making; research methods for professional enquiry; dissertation; inter-professional collaboration and organisational change; health and social care integration; literacies and power; leadership and design thinking.
Assessment is by summative assignment (100%). Summative assessment methods will include a combination of reflective and critical essays, oral presentations, research visualisations and research reports.
