Geography (PhD 3 Year Programme)

Research staff and postgraduate students operate within 2 research groups, the Space and Society Research Group (SSRG) and the Environmental Systems Research Group (ESRG). Both hold regular informal discussion meetings and research seminars. Research topics include: environmental change, policing, flooding, cold-climate geomorphology, health, volunteering and children and youth geography.

Entry requirements

Doctor of Philosophy - PhD: Honours degree at 2.1 or above, and/or a Master's degree in a relevant discipline. English language requirement: IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no less than 6.0 in the written component and no less than 5.5 in any other component, if the 1st language is not English.
