In 2008 the RAE identified that 50% of the Dental research in the University of Dundee was internationally excellent, 10% was world leading and Dundee had one of the highest returns in the UK in terms of the proportion of our teaching staff who are research active.

Entry requirements

MDSc (Res): You should have an honours degree at 2.1 or above, and/or a Masters degree in a relevant discipline. English Language Requirement: Non-Clinical Research - IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no less than 6.0 in the written component and no less than 5.5 in any other component, if your first language is not English. Clinical Research - IELTS of 7.0 overall, with no less than 6.5 in any other component if your first language is not English.
