BSc Infection: Prevention and Control (Post-Registration Top Up)

Aimed for healthcare practitioners who have a responsibility for infection prevention and control. It will enable students to critically explore the scientific knowledge and strategies that inform infection prevention and control best practice; assist students in the development of skills, knowledge and understanding required to function safely and effectively within infection prevention and control; identify ways in which to continually enhance patient and public safety; and to empower students to develop professional leadership, research and practice skills in order to achieve practice development, multi-professional teamwork and collaboration.

Entry requirements

Bachelor of Science - BSc: Students must hold 120 credits at Level 7 and 120 credits at Level 8 or equivalent.
