Science Fiction (MLitt)

This programme provides an understanding of the genre of science fiction and its relationship to different genres, national cultures, and media. Students extend strategies for the analysis and interpretation of science fiction texts as well as familiarity with their historical and stylistic development. Students are encouraged to articulate independent critical responses to science fiction across a range of periods and media. The programme is inherently interdisciplinary in its approach, and will foster creativity and ingenuity in developing critical approaches to the work.
