Concrete Engineering and Environmental Management
This course aims to deepen students' knowledge, increase understanding, and develop skills in concrete technology and to help prepare you for a career in industry, commerce or academia.
Applicants should normally have, or expect to have an Honours degree at 2.2 or above, or equivalent professional or overseas qualifications, in a relevant academic discipline. IELTS of 6.0 (or equivalent), if the 1st language is not English.
Modules include: research methods and diploma project; health, safety and enviromental engineering; plus specialist modules in: design for durability, assessment and repair; construction systems 1 and 2; sustainable use and enviromental impact assessment; project and enterprise managment.
Coursework, examination and a dissertation (based on research).
