This course aims to give students expertise and industrial experience in current aspects of geotechnical engineering.
Honours degree at 2.2 or above, or equivalent professional or overseas qualifications, in a relevant academic discipline. IELTS of 6.0 (or equivalent), if the 1st language is not English.
Modules include: research methods and diploma project; health, safety and environmental engineering; plus specialist modules: offshore geotechncial engineering; advanced soil mechanics and geoenvironmental engineering; soil dynamics and earthquake engineering; advanced structural analysis; research project
Assessment is through coursework, examination.
