Geotechnical Engineering (MSc)

This course aims to give students expertise and industrial experience in current aspects of geotechnical engineering.

Entry requirements

You should normally have, or expect to have an honours degree at 2.2 or above, or equivalent professional or overseas qualifications, in a relevant academic discipline. Please check our website for English language requirements.

Course modules

Modules include: research methods and diploma project; health, safety and environmental engineering. Plus specialist modules: Offshore geotechncial engineering; advanced soil mechanics and geoenvironmental engineering; soil dynamics and earthquake engineering; advanced structural analysis; research project.

Assessment methods

Assessment is through coursework, examination.
