Corporate and Commercial Law
This programme aims to provide advanced instruction in key aspects of contemporary and commercial law, that are of particular contemporary relevance and which benefit and interest students coming from a number of legal traditions; the programme also develops a number of transferable skills including in research, written and oral presentation and time management.
A good Honours degree in law, of at least 2.1 or equivalent; non-law graduates with relevant legal experience are encouraged to apply; IELTS of 6.5 (or equivalent), if the 1st language is not English.
Principles of corporate law; corporate governance; intellectual property law.
Continuous assessment plus end of semester examinations in December and March/April; compulsory dissertation of 12-15,000 words.
