International Security (Drugs and Organised Crime)

This course aims to provide an in-depth understanding of terrorism and political violence, counter-terrorism and intelligence pertaining to modern security issues such as responses to terrorism, responses to the use of force and violence generally.

Entry requirements

Normally an upper second class first degree in International Relations or a related discipline; applicants with alternative qualifications and/or relevant experience may be considered. Please check our website for English language requirements.

Assessment methods

Students apply to MSc International Security, and can choose a specialist pathway to suit a interests; a choice dictates a core module, and select an additional 3 optional modules. choose from: Terrorism; Human rights; Drugs, Organised Crime; European Union; Russia.
