Academic Practice in Higher Education
Aimed at working professionals, the programme is delivered by distance learning through online resources, Topic Units, individual tutor support, a peer community of practice and a reflexive assessment mode, facilitating your learning from everyday practice and experiences.
You'll need to be actively engaged in teaching and/or facilitating learning (but you do not need to be a lecturer). Plus able to demonstrate your ability to work at Masters level.
Modules may include: the associate module; the fellowship module part 1; the fellowship module part 2; facilitating learning; developing and evaluating your teaching; assessment and feedback. You can then choose your topic units from currently available modules including: the flexible learner; developing and evaluating your teaching; assessment and feedback; inter-professional learning; internationalising the curriculum; developing as a supervisor; leadership in learning and teaching; scholarship of teaching and learning; collaborative working; nurisng and midwifery option; negotiated study.
