Literature and Creative Writing
Research interests range from late medieval Renaissance to contemporary writing, literature of US and of modern Europe (French, German, Italian, Polish, Russian); supervision for research on single authors and periods, also comparative, interdisciplinary and theoretical approaches especially in use of linguistics and literary theory, study of relations between literature and history, philosophy, ideology, film and fine art.
Good Honours degree (or equivalent overseas qualification), plus satisfactory evidence of ability in English language required; applicants with English not as their 1st language should have IELTS 7.0 (with 7.0 in writing and a minimum of 6.5 in the other components) or equivalent.
