International Public Policy and Public Management

The course develops an advanced understanding of public policy and management at national and international levels. The course is grounded in a political science understanding of the subject, and focuses on its regulation, competition, international institutions and legal aspects. The course particularly considers the impact of international organisations, including the EU, on national governments. The design of the course allows you to broaden your experience even further, through optional modules in political studies, international development and environmental studies.

Entry requirements

Applicants require a good Honours degree at a minimum 2.1 level or equivalent, in a relevant subject. In accordance with the UK Border Agencies Tier 4 visa guidelines, we will also waive the English language requirement for applicants who meet the defined nationality test or who have completed a degree level course in 1 of the listed countries.
